So when modeling goddess Marie and her fashion & celeb photographer sweetheart Casey decided to skip L.A.'s buzzing scene and find their own private haven in France, it was Chateau de Mailly's fragrant gardens and Vezelay's magic that sparked their lifelong passion for the region, exploring the food, people, and villages amongst the folds of its unforgettable landscape.
Think of bees humming industriously on the neatly manicured lawns as Floraison Paris cast their flattering veil over the ceremony, and in the magic hour, when the corks were popped, crudités, mouthwatering dishes and chilled wine circulated around the wrought-iron candle-lit tables all seemed alright with the world. Add on cocktails of confident yet utterly unstuffy charm, a Naeem Khan gown only Marie's silhouette can pull and you can safely see why I had so much to fall in love with.
