Two hearts beating as one, two creative souls delving in Italy's finest; Scarlett & Wellington 's luxury engagement at Villa Ruspoli Bonaparte in Rome, and Villa Cimbrone in Ravello meant straddling across Lazio and Campania's most arrestingly beautiful regions, perfumed vistas and resolutely Italian destinations. The outpourings of a plethora of international artists share the art-filled grounds, with love for life, and life in love the main sources of inspiration.

A breath away from Rome's Spanish Steps, Via Della Fontanella di Borghese; Legions of enchanted history voyeurs, flavor, beauty and surprise seekers plunk down to Via del Corso. Yet the bisque yellow facade of the 16th-century edifice of no. 56 shawls one of Rome's most hulking nonpareils, Ruspoli Palace.

Thousands of creative seeds have been sown here. Sculptures, frescoes, era furnishings, immersive installations, and art by the likes of Martino Longhi The Young whose  100-step staircase was once considered one of the four wonders of Rome, are plotted across the ten ornate galleries and four suites fully-frescoed by Napoleon III’s mother, Ortense de Beauharnais. Could this get any better for Scarlett & Wellington's engagement portraiture in Rome? If nothing, these two Hong-Kong bourne designer lovers understand the artistic caliber of living life's fullest in this palazzo.

Our lavish 1500s suite is a swathe of silk wallpaper, parquet floors, plush velvet sofas and tables inlaid with onyx and precious stones. It is at once overstated and understated luxury.  Wellington's engagement ring, his own special design crafted exclusively for his beloved seems as if it's always belonged here, much like the bride and groom-to-be themselves. We shoot Scarlett's portraits on the bed decorated with a period fresco. Baroque drapes blow around while painterly views and large hunks of marble enfold the romantic duo.

Two steps away a trompe d' oeil bookcase reveals a door to a secret hiding place, but there's no hide and seek of emotions in this suite. See for yourselves.
