Editorial Wedding Photography on the Amalfi Coast
Some weddings are built around a location. Others are built around a feeling. Lena and Thomas's day on the Amalfi Coast was firmly the second. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every decision had been made with intention. But not to impress, but to reflect exactly who they are.
The Aesthetic
The aesthetic of this wedding felt personal from the first frame. Nothing was there by accident. The ceremony looked out over the Tyrrhenian Sea, with a draped linen arch and an altar surrounded by white orchids and sculptural florals by Kuts Flowers. It was the kind of setting where editorial wedding photography comes naturally, because the visual intention was already built into the day. Our work was simply to honour it.
The Morning
We have always loved the getting-ready part of a wedding day. There is a lightness to it that the rest of the day sometimes doesn't have. Lena's morning gave us some of our favourites from this wedding. Her mother held her close, both of them somewhere between laughter and tears. The bridesmaids together, full of joy. Lena in a quiet moment before everything began. These are the images that give a wedding gallery its full range, and they are the ones that tend to stay with people the longest.
The Ceremony
The ceremony itself was held outdoors, with the coastline as the horizon and the afternoon light doing exactly what Amalfi Coast light does in the best conditions. Lena's gown, with its sculptural skirt and long cathedral veil, moved beautifully against the setting. When they kissed, the sea was behind them and the statues flanked them on either side. It was one of those frames that asks very little of a photographer.

What makes editorial wedding photography work is not the setting alone. It is how the couple moves through their day, and whether they trust the process enough to let real moments surface. Lena and Thomas gave us that completely.
