Natalie and Tim chose Herdade do Peru for their Portugal wedding, and from the moment we arrived, it was clear why. The venue sits in the quiet landscape outside Lisbon, surrounded by open land and a natural stillness that very few places can offer. There is something about the grounds here that removes the need for anything extra. The setting does the work, and everything else simply falls into place around it.

The event design by Sofia Nascimento Studios brought an additional layer of intention to the day. The florals, the atmosphere, the way each space connected to the next. Everything was considered without ever feeling over-arranged. That kind of vision creates the conditions where genuine moments can actually be captured.
A Ceremony That Held Everyone
When we think back to the ceremony, what stays with us is the quality of attention in the room. Everyone was present. Natalie and Tim were with each other in a way that made the whole space feel held. There was no performance to it, just two people who clearly knew why they were there.
And then there was the dog, who deserves a mention of his own. We have a deep bond with animals, and when a couple chooses to include their dog in a moment this significant, it tells us something honest about who they are. It is one of our favourite things to witness and to photograph.
